RIP ADAM YAUCH/ MCA
RIP MCA/ ADAM YAUCH. Sad that I’ll never be able to see one of my favorite bands since childhood live, but was also lucky enough to see him give an extremely powerful political speech in monroe park about the importance of voting. Always loved him, not only for his hard-hitting, powerful rhymes, but for his humanitarian ways and for his ballsy moves like the track “I don’t know” a slow, rainy day song that goes against the formula of the usual Beastie Boys song.
You were truly a visionary and will be greatly missed.
